In a sense, it’s more realistic than the War Memorial of Korea. It’s actually in the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) at the northernmost region of the East Sea coast. It opened in 2001 with hope of the peace between the South and North. From vestiges of the Cold War to human remains, you can see lots of interesting articles here. What is more, you will get a once-in-your-life chance to see yourself the land of N.Korea at the Unification Observatory nearby.
