6 TOURIST SPOTS IN JEJU ISLAND THAT WOULD HEAL WEARY SOULS

For a good number of Koreans, the word “healing” is the first thing that comes in mind on hearing of the island “Jeju.” This island, located at the southernmost part of South Korea, gives off some impressions of exoticness while the mountain and the ocean provide a heaven of rest.

Dear our exhausted readers, go to Jeju Island.

1. Bijarim (Nutmeg Tree Forest)

It's the first forest park of Jeju Island and the world’s largest single-species forest that has an innumerable number of nutmeg trees. Try walking barefooted on a clear day! It’s better.

2. Saryeoni Forest Path

It is a 15km-long woodland path at an average altitude of 550m. This might be the perfect place to let all your stresses go off that other travelers don’t know existing.

3. Olle Trails : Route 10

Jeju Island has lengthy trekking routes surrounding the island along the coast. Route 10 is particularly popular for its scenic oceans and mountains. Novice trekkers would love it.

4. Seongsan Ilchulbong (Seongsan Sunrise Peak)

Are you sure that your itinerary includes Seongsan Ilchulbong? If not, your entire travel plan is in vain. The breathtaking sunrise will completely overwhelm your body and soul.

5. Udo Island

You can see this little island from Seongsan Ilchulbong. It kind of looks like a miniature version of the whole Jeju Island and has a beautiful natural environment around. It takes only 15 minutes to reach there by water and just half a day is enough to travel every corner of the island.

6. Mt. Sanbangsan Hotspring

It’s the only natural sparkly hot spring in Jeju Island. It is in the Sanbangsan Mountain, located in the middle of Olle Route 10. Surrender your body in the hot spring. You will get bubbles tickling your body and relaxed nice and warm.
